The Laysan albatross features in David Attenborough's Our Planet II. 99.7% of the population resides on the Hawaiian Island of Laysan, one of the most desolate islands in the Pacific.
Sadly, the island of Laysan is covered in plastic. Parents searching the ocean for food often mistake floating plastic for fish. Many never return to Laysan, or return with lighters and batteries to feed their children.
Inspired by the documentary, our team quickly began searching for ways to have a more positive impact on the planet.
Albi is a nod to the character that started our journey.
